    Re: Timing Belt Question?

Does it make a difference to the resale value of the car if its done privately(i.e yourself/buddy) or by a specialist garage (i.e Tube Dub or dealership).....?

shouldnt make a diff for resale value if you get it done at Tube Dub lol, or if you do it yourself.

        Re: Timing Belt Question?

I think what most people look for is that the maintenance has actually been done, and not neglected or skipped. Keeping receipts for the parts involved to do the maintenance is the best bet, then just disclose that you got a certified mechanic to do it or that you did it yourself. Either that or just keep quiet and hope the buyer doesnt ask dumb questions. lol
