  • Golf IV lower valence

My stock valence has been painted but is chipped and the paint is cracking in a few places. Is it going to be cheaper to have it re-done or should I just get a new one and start all over?

Cheaper to get a new one if it's going to a shop.

If you are going to put some time into it you can fix itup pretty good yourself, let me know if you want a hand.

i don't think its worth getting a new one, i'd take et here up on his offer and redo yours, diy style. just sand it down, fix the chips, prime it, sand it, paint it, sand it, clear it, sand it, polish! take a day and take the thing off and in between coats of paint and doing work on it, do a real good polish on your car! then when its all said and done and you reinstall.. your car will be all shiny and ****. you'll be stoked.
