Rob Daddy's "Hooligan" - MK4 R32 in Deep Blue Pearl Mommy's "Gran Turismo" - E70 X5M in Black Sapphire Metallic GONE... BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: The Family "Muscle Car" - B7 RS4 in Misano Red - Dad's 20th Anniversary "Wanna-be R32" GTi
They might have 7 GTI's on the way however there are only 6 2dr 6 speeds on order and in stock in the country. If the OP wanted a 4 dr DSG then it would be an easier car to find as we alone have 4 on the lot right now!
I've been lied to before by a dealership, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Regardless, those cars a hot, and totally incompatible with my lifestyle.
It's really hard in a compact car for me to "bury" my treasure into any guys on davie st.
The allroad, now that was a treasure burying fiesta on davie street.
*EDIT*
For those of you from Alberta, Davie St. in vancouver, is supposedly, according to Graeme, the homosexual center of the city.
Realistically, it's just another street, but there do happen to be more gay and lesbian focused venues and a higher population concentration of gay and lesbian people living near there due to some of the venue demographics.
On my way home from BMW Gallery I popped by Northland VW with my brother and they said they had 7-8 new GTIs there and a bunch more on the way. Most of them were DSG.
I am patiently waiting for the new R to come to Canada
well, some people don't know how to shift... so its like an automatic for most people. i would buy dsg purely cause its faster than a manual permitting it's got launch control.
I bought mine from Mike Funk at 5th ave! Perfect sales experience from start to finish! i had been dealing with northland vw for about 12 years but after a few personal changes and having their bay run by "words i cannot type on here" i took my business elsewhere...their loss, def not mine!
I have never understood this 'DSG' is faster than a manual.
To me this is only of interest if you are racing in a league where a second will cost you the race. None of us are doing that, in fact I will bet that 95% of the GTI's with DSG will never see track time.
To me these ridiculously fast shift times and launch control are just for people who have small dicks. Launch control, when are you ever going to need launch control in a FWD hot hatch? It is called use your 3rd pedal. If you are on a track, your ESP/TC will be off, and using said launch control you will just spin.
Driving in the city, within the confines of the law, a 6-speed 200hp Turbo short wheelbased hatchback will be tons of fun and very lively.
