LOL @ MYSELF.

salesguy told me was MKVI. We were just finished looking at Golfs though, so i'm guessing slip of the tongue.

GLI needed 2 or 3k in work to get it running nice again.

Any way to change the thread name so I don't look like a retard? I accomplish that enough on my own without any big arrows pointing to the fact.

Regardless, looking forward to a brand new car, as opposed to the used garbage I've been looking at.

The TDI is another feature that kind of sold me on the car. Plus we get a PST credit in BC.

Yeah I wish I could hold off and get a newer one. Realistically I doubt the difference will be very large. I might make an inquiry to that effect though. (Cheers for changing title)

It wasn't. Needed another 2-3k into it immediately, and he had a blow off valve for some reason. Plus he was a bit slimey. I opted to walk away.

What happened to your All-Road?

All-road = sink hole. Also I believe I got a lemon, for sure. Guy that bought it took it in less than a week after sale for new coils. Under recall, but I reckon that's the first of MANY problems with that car.

now it's a LOLROAD that's all-sold.

The difference, I'm guessing, is you've owned from new and taken care of them.

This one was most likely neglected.

I intend to care very much for my TDI. And use it's lovely gas mileage.

lol...I just got my newest car yet...and it had 225k on it LOL! You will have a nice big old smile everytime you past the pump and say "meh....I still got another 1000km to go..."
