  • Noooo.. back to stock for me :(

Today since I have the time and the weather looks like its gonna change soon I'm taking off my bumper and grill and going back to stock :( i might leave my pwzwo grill on for a while though since that takes 5 seconds to remove.

      Simon,

I have a c1 wheel stand that I no longer need since the Jetta isn't being driven this winter. It is yours for $30

i'd take it all off aswell. The winter is a dreary time anyhow and your car will never look good in the winter even if its pimped out. Take off the grille to ensure there is no dmg done by rocks and all that nonsense.

yup paul.. anyways kris?? did you install your 4mo front yourself? cuz this is friggin annoying i can't get it to fit right.. so i'm taking a break and will try again i guess. next year i'm getting a winter front end for sure.. either a reiger RS rs4 look bumper for the winter or another stock one paint it silver and then just swap the whole thing every winter cuz this is so damn annoying

The valence was easy. Take bumper off. Just start in the middle and work your way outwards. Do one tab at a time.

If the ends seem "too short" is cause the tabs in the middle arent all the way in. Push them harder.

You can also use a flathead screwdriver on the tabs from the inside of the bumper if that helps. The trick for me was just to do the tabs one at a time instead of just trying to push them all in at once.
