you can remove the guage to fix it :P or blow a ton of cash on an omori or awe-tuning one that is 100% color match and don't rattle

I heard you can fix it sorta but adding more tubing like 1-2 feet but that would make a mess under the hood/dash

well, it doesnt work for everyone. the only way to go 100% non rattle and look oem is get electric ones.

My Apexi doesn't rattle at all - probably cause it's so huge. (I don't really get what's rattling exactly with the vdos).

geoff the rattle is well the needle goes up/down violently while siting at idle and when under hard acceleration it goes up high and it actually makes a rattle noise which is annoying.. i can live with it but yea if i was gone it would be nice

There are some liquid buffered gauges that will never rattle. But they will be expensive. I think you can get rid of it by just creating a cavity somewhere along the line to the gauge. So splice in a thicker piece of tube maybe.

Well my gauge has really thick tubing, and it's dead silent (I have other rattles to keep me occupied). I heard Evan etc were using thicker tube kits?

Anways, some hints about putting qtips in the pipe, inline fuel filters etc... Almost all of them say they have no buzzing anymore.
