So since the cold snap my TDI has been acting funny. Hooked up the Scanguage and in 3rd gear WOT my MAP reads 14.6, normally at idle it is 12.9 (I don't have a boost guage). It feels like it is in limp mode all the time. Could it be a stuck N75 or time for a new turbo???

So you only get the limp mode in 3rd?
Before you get your hopes up on a new VNT 17/22 do a simple maf check and make sure that ain't causing you an issue.
Also check the actuator on the turbo and make sure its still moving.

You have no boost gauge, do you have a boost valve to control how much boost you're getting? Do you have mods done?2001 Jetta TDI GL Silver
