TDI was dead in the water Monday when I went to go to work in the AM. Called in a favour and got it boosted around 11am. Started it again @ around 3:30 and just barely got it running.
Then things got interesting. I was leaving to meet up for some drinks around 7:30.... The starter was going to town, the engine however was not... I tried another boost, with no results. Tons of crank no fire. Tuesday morning, same issue. So last night I spent the better part of an hour with a hair dryer on my fuel filter, fuel lines, engine casing, ignition chambers. Finally started to see movement in my fuel lines and like a cacophonous din from the heavens it fired... The fuel must have gelled.
I hate winter.
