Thats good to know. Would a 3'' downpipe make a big difference from a 2.5''? Would a 3'' work on a 2.5'' exhaust? Any difference in sound for adding a downpipe?

The engine is stock except for the CAI

From what i have read, the 2.5" makes it better in the lower rpm's where as the 3" makes a difference in the high end, Yes there are adapters for 3" down pipe to 2.5" catback. I dont know about the sound, i have a 3" turbo back, with no cat. Its pretty loud...

Listen buddy, you're the one coming here asking questions after saying we don't know wtf we're talking about. I didn't critisize your headlights nor did I give my opinion on them. You're just touchy as soon as ppl said that you...you got ripped off and that they look like auto bots from transformers. OK? so all I'm saying is watch that big mouth of yours and dont say we dont know wtf we're talking about & then open up a thread asking question, when we're all just stating our opinion. As you can see people are still helping you respond to your question. So therefore don't post stupid remarks like that when you cannot take critisizm.
I don't know where you the idea that "we think what's best for a euro" BUT good luck with your research.

              Re: Diverter Valve

I am chipped with other bolt ons and on my 2nd stock diaphram DV valve at 140K. Faster response than a piston model (007 etc)

Just don't call it a DV valve at the parts counter, they seem to all have different names. Recirc valve I think last time.

And if I recall it's pretty cheap - 32 bucks or so? You can buy a lot of stockers for 180+ bucks.

Hmm how much is it compared to the 710n?

                  Re: Diverter Valve

The 710N is one of the vw stockers which is probably the one I bought. Don't quote me on price though as it was at least 1.5 years ago but it should be somewhere between 30-40ish.
