MK4 recalls.....

I cant remember, but was the signal arm ever a recall item on the mk4's??? Its broken and wont stop clicking. most annoying malfunction ever

If its not a recall item, any idea how much this would cost to fix?

I did it on mine, and ever since then I haven't had a problem. Let me know if you need any Help but it's pretty easy to do. IF this fix doesnt help, last time i talked to George from TuneDub he said roughly $220 bucks to change the whole arm.

PS. $220 includes the labor

It is not a recall as far as I know.

Our Passat was just done and it cost $523.15 that was Nov 08.

if you did it yourself you could cut about $275 off of that for labour.

The clicking can also be caused by the Hazzard switch which was a recall item on many cars. The stalk was not I believe.

I did electric cleaner thing on mine. Its ok now, but I get the random 'tick' now and again....
