i think you're just lucky.. not because you bought cheap tires, but that you got off without having to balance! Only takes a little extra weight to throw it all off. Although, the lower the profile, the more obvious it is.

FYI. It could also be a damaged rim or two... especially if they're alloys and especially if they are installed on one of the front tires (ie. you'll feel way more vibration up front as compared to if the damaged rim was installed on the back).

      Good luck.

lol...I guess nobody liked my heater pressure wash idea. I thought it would be easier than trying to find a heated parkade...

With the cold temp I would be a little worried about freezing down there when you get out.... Of course what do I know about pressure washing....

In response to the orginal post yeah its some snow. Had the same problem last weekend since I was running around in the deep stuff every night. I took my 75000 btu diesel heater and just melted the snow out on the driveway. I had the vibration problem, but also had so much snow in the rear that the caliper was not letting go either and would hold back the wheel enough to put the ABS light on. Another thing you could do if you don't want to drive out and have an unheated garage. Just pull the wheel off and give it a quick clean by hand. Won't take you long, won't cost you anything, and you can eliminate the possibility of snow and ice in the rim for sure.

Snow/ice in the wheels. I had my hufs on and then there was a freak snow storm and a chunk of ice got stuck in a wheel. The car vibrated like crazy over 120kph so when I got into town I took the chunk out and the car was fine after.

I thawed out my car again last night. I really do enjoy being able to use my windshield wipers and not hear them on the glass.

yea same thing happened to me on saturday...was on crowchild doing about 90, it the steering wheel shook very violently...

then brushed the snow / ice off the rim, it was fine
