Sorry if I offended you, I perhaps too should have worded that differently. MAJORITY of people that work at dealerships are useless. As goes with life, there are exceptions to everything. This is certainly one of them. Once in a blue moon, you get someone who is willing to actually work with you and help you out. Ginch is a great example of this. Only dealt with him once, but it was a good experience. I'm not even gonna start listing the bad experiences.
Vee Dubbin, once again sorry if you got offended, but thats just how it is. I'm sure you've gone to other dealerships before and gotten the same BS. Hopefully you are one of the people who helps others out.
For the OP, my only advice would be that if you are stuck to the point where the car MUST go to the dealership, try renting a flatdeck. It will probably save you a bit of money in the long run. I cant see a tow being anywhere close to cheap.
