Mk5 Jetta 2.0T FSI help.

I am trying to check the spark plugs in my fiance's jetta. Anyone have any tricks for removing the wiring harness off the coil packs? I cannot get a single one off and im afraid to break them.
Think the plugs will need doing with 60k on the engine?

lift the coils up a little bit so the harness is raised. then push the connectors in a little bit to ease the load on the clip. you'll have to work them somewhat evenly. pull them off, pull out the coils, and replace to plugs. should be done at 56k.
