Heated Washer Nozzles

Do '01 GTI's have the heated washer nozzles???

Because mine froze up last night at work..... Damn it winter is coming....

my 03 does cuz i have the umm cold weather package.. no wait thats no longer on its a standard feature now i think.. anyways i've been rocking summer fluid for a while now and no issues.. although my car gets garaged at night and soon all day since i'm getting upgraded to underground parking

I used to have a 2001 GTI before my 20th and if you have the Cold Weather Package then you have heated washer nozzles.

What do you get with the Cold Weather Package? I thought we all had this.

heated windshield fluid nozzles, heated mirrors and heated seats.

neil like i said its standard features now on the 02+'s i think before you had to pay for it

yah cold weathe rpackage was another $300 i think, 95% of all the cars coming to the dealership had the cold weather package (because its damn cold in canada!).

Just to clarify:

In 2001 and 2002 (for sure)...GLS cars (Golf, GTI, Jetta, etc) were made available with the cold weather package. It includes heated seats and washer nozzles. The heated mirrors are standard equipment on every car except Golf CL. Even GLs have heated mirrors, but it is activated with the rear defroster.

Oh, I don't deny that. I only put 2001-2002 for sure because I started selling VWs in 2001 and I don't know 100% about ALL of the idiosyncracies of previous models (yes, VW changes their stuff that often). Just want to make sure that my information is 100% accurate.

Ya I guess i'm a retard they only heat up when u put the knob in the canter to heat your mirrors then the washer nozzles heat up as well..... Works really well i might add... I still have summer windsheild fluidi nthere and it thawed it like butta....

oh yea dale i forgot about that heres a huge problem sorta with our cars. when i first bought my jetta i was like okee adjusted my mirrors then to my thinking i set it to the middle to 'lock' them well 3 months later i find out thats all wrong haha they still work though last time it snowed here (well a while ago) they worked fine now I know my car better.. I must have skipped something in the manual the day I bought it

yah i only found about not putting it in the middle setting a few months ago too. they should warn you profusely when purchasing the car to not do that!!
