of course it depends on what roads you need to take to work.. ie deerfoot=car death, crowchild=car death

almost every road in calgary=car death

I'm probably gonna jinx myself, but I drove memorial to deerfoot to airport every day for 2+ years, and now I drive from the far W of glenmore to the far E of glenmore and I don't even have a crack on my original 02 windshield.

Definately a lot of rock chips on the bumper, but if I had an S4 for WINTER driving there's no friggin way I'd be rocking a leBaron.

geoff fwiw.. my windshield is completely destroyed.. front end needs to be resprayed including hood.. roof line above windshield needs paint.. small chips on rear fenders,etc

whole car is going in this winter for some smoothing,molding and widening.. with some lowering too haha

psssshhhh...winter cars....its all about being slammed on 15's + winter tires. My bro reps hard, daily driven in -40c in good ol TOONTOWN SK. Front end is chipped to hell, he's had multiple rocks go through the windshield on trips to/from Calgary. Most recent injury was a huge rock that destroyed the bug/rock deflector on the front. Somehow she still shines up when summer comes around

But seriously... a new windshield is like $200 for a MK4... so why not. At the end of the day... if I only wanted to drive my car 7 months of the year, I would have bought an M3. Mmmmm... M3.
