Yeah both those cars are on coils, but could be a lot lower if they wanted.

This one is the stock stance and as far as I know it is the same as the Euro stance now. It is not bad but think it will look better down a bit

im royally pissed at winter and deerfoot for trashing my car now so no more lowering for me, next car will stay stock im afraid

Hello! first post figured i'd respond to this thread! I took delivery of my 2010 CW Gti 6spd 2 door on dec. 30 and have been lovin it ever since!!! As soon as the weather decides to be car friendly the mods will begin...have a TON of them to do lol!

Boo! That's why you do coils Eric... crank 'em as high as they go for the winter... and still have your fun, lowered stance in the summer.

dont know how to post pix lol!

as for mods and warranty....i asked that MANY times and with what im doing...Stage 2 engine tuning, suspension and wheels...ill be ok...with the chip tuning i can have a "factory" mode that wont mess things up when i need to get car serviced.

They should only void it of they cause the problem, but a lot comes down to attitude and dealer relationship.

I don't plan on modding right now, the entire idea of the new car was to have the warranty and not worry about it. I was just curious.

If your turbo or any part of powertrain goes there is always a chance the dealer can find out you were stage 2. I think it's not stricly up to individual dealers whether they can give you a new engine etc. (I could be wrong on this last part).

Ur right...with any modding tho, u run the risk of breaking stuff lol and if ur not prepared for that, then u shouldnt do it! ive broken everything possible on my last car and each time i got something better B) on the new girl, i dont plan on going too bonkers, just enuf to enjoy it a lil more
