The R is very nice, but not sure I wanted to holdout for one, but will be trying to get a few parts from it for sure, those LED tails are a must have I think for a MK6.
Not sure if I will part with the black Huffs, if I have it my way I think they will be my winters!

Sooo, I checked one out last night at SCFC. The salesman Sean, was a welcome change to my last experience there. Solid fella, and definitely going to get my business next year --- whether's its a GTi, or (PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BRING IT HERE) a Golf R.
Rob Daddy's "Hooligan" - MK4 R32 in Deep Blue Pearl Mommy's "Gran Turismo" - E70 X5M in Black Sapphire Metallic GONE... BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: The Family "Muscle Car" - B7 RS4 in Misano Red - Dad's 20th Anniversary "Wanna-be R32" GTi
P.S. Good job on the manual decision. This whole "shifting" thing is a die-ing form of art these days. "Really daddy... you mean you actually had to Shift the car yourself! That's weird." Replies dad... "Yes son... and back in the day... I also had to actually "Dial" the phone as well."

My son laughs and doesn't believe me when I told him I used to have to get up, walk over to the TV and turn a dial to change the channel when I was his age. black and white TV, he doesn't even know what a black and white photo is.
Well I have been driving with paddle shifters for near 4.5 years now so I am looking forward to going back to a manual. I know DSG is quick but want to be a bit more connected and save a few bucks at the same time. Plus if I get an itch for paddles I can always borrow the keys to the R8
Hoping for March-ish delivery, longer it takes better $$$ wise but will be such a change from the Smart to have heat, power, luxury, etc.

The other day I drove the family's minivan. Weirdest feeling I have had in so long. Become so used to manual cabby/bus. Get to the end of the block and I go to hit the clutch and just locked up the brakes, ABS firing, tire screeching stop. Was fairly embarrassing.
