So my computer crashed!!??

So im working away and ..zap...the computer turns off - dead -
so i contact the help line and im told it is a soft wear problem and to reboot the computer. Fine. It works again. But darn it, i lost all of my pics - vacation, car shows, cars, etc. and most of all i lost the pictures of my front end (getta) swap.

what are you using for an OS? more than likely the reason it just shut off is a crappy powersupply. remember a file name and they are probably still there for you.. i help one family and for some reason their XP hates them they bugger a local profile non stop so XP gives them a temp on which has nothing in it all the time so that may of happened to you.. just use a search and search for a filename of a pic and i bet its still on there for you..
