I have but they want me to book it and and then pay an hour labor for them to tell me what the problem is. So i thought i would try on my own first before i come to that.

Cloth or leather? I'm guessing it will be the element. If it's cloth, talk to Brent as he's offered on the 1st page to cannibalize his seats for the elements. If it's leather, you will need to replace the leather as the elements are woven in. I had the same issue with my 2001 Golf and just wound up replacing my seats with leather. Good luck...
