alright guys i just found out today that my combi valve is leaking pretty bad i can feel it when the car is ideling and i put my hand by it, what does this valve do?

i was told i was probably losing some power because of it... now this valve comes out when you delete the SAI does it not? so i plan on doing that, any one on here do it? how long does it take? any one want to lend a helping hand and maybe some tools/experience? i plan to go to concept tomorrow morning and getting the block off plate and doing it that after noon.

edit: is it okay to run it without software for the delete for a couple of days?

    thanks
    Jonathan

    Re: combi vale leaking

I've done it, now that i have, probably take 2 hours tops with a couple of ramps or some jackstands and the proper tools.

Running without the software is fine, you just get 2 codes, i dont plan on changing my software just to get rid of those.

    pm sent.
