my GF drives a Civic and she already thinks my MkIV is so so. i lost interest in Jettas when the MK5's showed up and now this car looks even uglier. Serious VW, how i am suppose to defend you now. MkIV Jettas are nicer than an 8th Gen Civic IMO but i rather drive the Civic over the newer one.

I think all Jetta's except for the MkIV are ugly as sin.

Should just be Golf's and Passat's.

A MKII or MKIII can be dead sexy, even a MKV can be made up to look good. Although that's far more difficult.

We should be getting a preview of the NCS/Jetta at the NAIAS (Detroit) next week.

And VW will also be showing a new concept as well.

Thats a pretty good looking car and I think they might be keeping the size as is at least as this is the NCC(S) which is compact and there is also a NMS in the works too, which is the midsized to be produced at the new Tennessee plant when it is ready.

The NMS is said to be much larger than the NCC. Didn't the press release mention something about how the NKVI Jetta would only be like 3" longer in wheelbase, or was that the NCC again?

Either way from everything I've read I'm pretty sure the MKVI will be no larger than the MKV, although one hell of a lot sexier!
