MKVI Jetta spy shots

A couple new spy shots have surfaced.

I'm digging the new slimmer looking sides and the tails.

IMO the Jetta is getting uglier each year. Mk4 was the peak of beauty.

Someone on Vortex had posted this as an interesting observation.

"The side profile view of the car is very B8 A4-like.
They got rid of the raked look!
The front end isn't so round (and therefore stubby looking), which is possible if the mk6 front end is grafted on.
And the rear bumper extends down much further than the mk5, much better looking than the mk5 as well.
(Yes, I realize the car is carrying a heavy load, my observations still hold true)"

"As I mentioned above, looks to me quite similar to the CC rear, with Scirocco-like tail lights, for now.

VW always tries to use as many parts as possible from their stable of cars, so I would not be surprised if much of the front-end is identical to the MkVI Golf. However, as I mentioned before, the slope of the hood is quite different (not conforming to European passenger safety standards, but better looking). Take a look at where and how the windshield meets the hood. Yet, the very front of the cars could still be almost identical to the Golf - perhaps with some small changes to make it look a bit more upscale."
