Where are the Spark Plug wires?

I just wanted to know where my plug wires are if I have them..cuz I haven't seen my distributor anywhere...or is it a distributorless car... and also...the things that look like the plugs on the top of of my engine with wires going to it...what are those? injectors maybe? oh by the way I have a Jetta GLI VR6...thanks in advance

Those wires hide under the plastic cover.
