Can anyone tell me where the switch for the driver's door alarm/fuel pump primer is? I noticed the car doesn't prime when I open the door any more and if the only door I open is the driver's dide after unlocking the alarm re-arms after a minute or so even if the door is still open. I'm pretty sure the switch is gone which would explain both problems.

Re: driver's door alarm switch?
It's built onto the mechanical section of the door lock module, under the catch. I have replaced 3 for people now. Not too difficult to do. I'll post up the DIY links from the 'tex when I get home, and the part number for the replacement switch.Last edited by FlyBoy; 08-20-2009, 08:58 AM.Jeff

Re: driver's door alarm switch?
It could be the soldering or the switch itself. I was planning on having a repair day for this problem but short on time these days. When I do have the extra time though I can help people fix them.Name: Brent

Re: driver's door alarm switch?
Can anyone lend me an 8mm triple square tool so I can put my module in this weekend? I owe Compton an apology. I orderd before I saw his post and when I called to add 2 more to the shipment it was already sent! It took less than 24hrs from the time I ordered, sorry for that. Oh, the min shipment thing doesn't apply any more as I only got the switch. Too bad the shipping was about the same as the part. I think it was just over $20 total.
I'm guessing my first time doing this it's gonna take at least 2-3 hours.
