so for my mkv gti i finally went stage 1 with apr, i got this done at concept 1. now i was told from them that i can use the 93 octane setting as my car sits, i only have a intake. i thought i had to have a down pipe, exhaust, and a diverter valve. whats the deal??

YES this is true... You dont need anything to run a 93 octane program....
Of course if you did put on a TBE buy APR you would see another 20ish HP on top of the numbers the 93 program is pumping out..12 VW Golf

Stage 1 is just a flash. You can run 91 or 93 octane files with the 93 octane file giving a little more power.
Stage 2 requires a downpipe and makes use of the larger downpipe diameter for even better gains.DJ Noble / Volkswagen Sales Consultant
