What do you think of these?

I am looking at buying some new seats for the GTI and I found these. They are Recaro Trophys, and a GTI rear bench. Both have been recently reupholstered professionally.

I could get a set of Torino Sparco seats for around the same price, which are newer, and potentially better.

I think that the older Recaros would "fit" my car better so thats a plus, but the Sparcos are more "performance".

Anybody have first hand experience with either of these seats?

I had trophys in one of my cars, i loved them, I am a bigger guy. but even my slim friends liked them alot

the trophy is one of my favorite seats ever.
sitting in a Sparco Torino however is a REALLY nice feel. it's too bad that they have the "racer dude" look to them though (probably not what you want).

between the 2,.. either will be great.

I spend 9 hours a day in a Recaro, love it!

I love my recaros. I believe mine are the same frame, but power. I hate sitting in any other car now.
