Stuck window

My 98 jetta's right rear window won't open. There is a small clicking sound when you hit the button, so I'd say there is power getting to the door. The glass has never been stiff sliding or anything, so I don't think the glass is stuck. Something up with the motor or linkages. Just wondering if anyone has had similar problems before I start ripping the door apart.
