Hey all, What is the cheapest price (in Canada) that anyone has seen Bilstein shocks for the mk4 Jetta? Please tell me how much and where you saw them.

    Thanks!

Cool  Hey Dale, 'Cost plus' pricing is always a goods thing. How many people do you need and where are you getting them from? You can count me in if the price is right

I saw them on the RPI site, but they still seem a little pricey. That's why I'm trying to get feedback from others who have bought them so I can get an idea of what a "good deal" is.

I'm right in the middle of trying to get some right now, there's a guy on vortex selling some used (10k) for $550 instead of the regular $750 (from RPI)

although, there's a sale on FK suspension on vortex right now, spring/shock combo for $530 shipped canadian. i think i might hook that up

If I were you guys I would buy shocks new, because they do wear out.

Simon, I'm assuming that $550 and $750 is CDN dollars right?

I saw them on ebay for $409 USD. I guess that works out to roughly $565 CDN + shipping and any duty....

So, I'm trying to hit them for like $650 CDN or less. As for the FK special on Vortex, I definitely don't want the FK stuff. :thumbsdwn

Wait Simon, Isn't this my thread!? :mrlaugh:

That's OK. I think I'm still going to try to score a new set. As of right now, the ebay deal is looking pretty good. I'm thinking of buying those ones and having them sent to California where I can pick them up in a few weeks when I'm down there.

haha oh yah, sorry about that.

picking them up while you're down there is a great idea, will probably save you $100 on duties alone!
