Well I tried to install my boost guage last night. It is quite easy to do it all but it seems I might be missing about 1-2" of slack on the tubing unless its supposed to be like that. However this morning after I hooked everything back up I decided to test to make sure and I was only getting -11vac so I guess something is leaking slightly. So peter is gonna help me out this afternoon to get it where it should be. So i'll post the full review later today

If you guys could take a few pics of where everything hooks up and where you ran the wires through the firewall, that would be sweet. I downloaded instructions from the 42draftdesigns website, but they seem a tad sparse. If they are the same as the ones included with the product, I'll be needing some pointers.Pat

I installed that guage a couple of weeks back, and just to let you know, I had some loose in the tubing. I'll be installing mine when it arrives, and i'll take some detailed pictures

Well we got it in and all hooked up.. Works great.. 3rd gear spikes at 12 and settles to 10.. its kinda funny watching the little bastard buzz.. although we couldn't get the top pillar clip back on ?? so hopefully nobody slams me sideways until we fix it..

Ryan, where did you tap into the signal? Near the FPR or the DV?
Comment

yea i did near the FPR although peter said I shouldn't of cut the line going to it but removed the clamp went from there although then i need a 2way piece not the T 3 way one.. oh well for now its fine.. the blue LED doesn't match 100% but eh looks good enough..

Peter installed my boost gauge for me (thanks again, Peter!) and there was no cutting involved. Which is nice if I ever want to reverse it.
Ryan, mine has that buzzing sound as well, and believe me, you dont ever get used to it. Whats this fuel filter thingy you mentioned?
Aside from the buzzing though, it's been great. No problems.2012 gti, 2012 mustang.

So how is this done without cutting? It seems to me you would have to come up with a short piece of hose to come off the FPR and then connect that to the existing hose and the boost gauge via the 3 way connector.
Of course, I haven't event look at it yet. Just been reading the instructions.Pat
