Ford parts on my VW?

Replace a rear calliper on my 98 Jetta yesterday (was seized). There is a round rubber bumper/dampener thingy attached to the rear callipers on this car. Cleaned it all up, and the rubber piece has a Ford logo. I guess I didn't realize they had done much together.

Odd i thought.

(My fav is that Diablo headlights are actually from the 300ZX. They simply put a small piece of CF over the upper edge of the headlight to hide the Nissan logo haha).

omg, a Noble M400 has the same tailights as a Hyundai Sonata hahaha
