CEL came on?

I was driving to work this morning and I got about 2 blocks. When I went to make a turn from a side street onto a road I was in second gear and was accelerating when all of a sudden it felt like my HP was reduced to 5HP and my exhaust was making a funny flutter sound, it is hard to explain the sound but it was like a "dododododo" sound or something and when I would try to accelerate more the CEL would flash. So I took the car home and parked it and now when I got home the CEL is on for good and it is still doing the same thing with the exhaust????

Does anyone know what I might be talking about and what exactly could be my problem and what I should do?

check your coilpacks install and reinstall them and check your spark plugs... this happened to me and my spark plug actually wasn't tightened fully.. it was a noob mistake on my part.

if there coil packs VW updated them again and you have to change all 4.
about 45 bucks a piece and NGK plugs 13 dollars a piece.
This is for a 1.8T.
VR6 if it's a 24 valve i believe the prices are the same.

And stay away from Bosch they are having alot of issues right now.
