And no they wont work...you have to wire them, which isnt hard at all to do for them to work with you "brakes". I would not suggest it tho as it emits a much stronger light cause its suppose to use for "foggy" situations only and u will prob blind ppl at night with em on on a clear night!
they would only turn on when the fogs are turned on (using a euro switch). otherwise normal brakes will light up under normal conditions.

      Re-read what i said!

You would have to wire them to the brakes, not run a wire from the fog light to the switch. Read carefully before trying to make me sound stupid!

I noticed there is a spare bulb socket (pictured), what is this for? I guessing its for rear fog lights(European). if I put a bulb in it would it work with my standard brakes..?
yes when fogs are turned on if your rears are wired with the fogs then it will work with your standard brakes. if you just put a bulb on there without any wiring the bulb will simply not work.

sorry man not what i was trying to do.. ecstuning sells a kit that wires these straight to fogs not straight to the brakes.. im assuming the OP wanted to wire these to the fogs. and assumed he was asking that if he wires it with the fogs that the rear fog will light with the brakes. in which case the answer is yes. otherwise if you do it your way and just wire the fogs to the brakes straight then yes you would be blinding people and you would be correct.
