    Re: FK Powertech coilovers

Bump this thread from the dead.

How's the FK working out for the people using it? H&R and Bilstein have come up as viable contenders as well.

Solowerks is the way to go! Handles great, can go fairly low, rides better than stock.

I helped my buddy install some h&r springs on his 2013 Golf R, he loves them.

Just a personal opinion but i would not run a $600 set of coilovers on a $45,000 vehicle, i would be looking for something of a slightly higher quality that will last me as long as possible and will give me the best ride quality, not an entry to mid range coilover.

              Re: FK Powertech coilovers

i would definetly recommend H&R/bilstien set ups for coilovers, Chads been running his for about 3 years on his mk4 jetta and theyre awesome, no hiccuups or issues with them, i have FK streetlines on my mk4 and they are alright, not the greatest but decent.

I wouldn't run FKs in a MK6. I've never really heard anything all that bad about, but I've never really hearf anything good either. H&R or KW is the way to go I think.

                    Re: FK Powertech coilovers

KWs, H&Rs or Bilsteins are the only choices, cheaping out on suspension is never a good idea!!
