  • Hi guys

    Hey guys new to the forum.

    i have a 04 jetta 2.0L. im a car audio installer so i didnt buy for speed. i recently put some 18 inch rims on the car im running 235/40 tires now im contemplating lowering it but i dont want any rubbing issue ya know. anybody have/had the same dilemma?

    if the offset of the rim is good you won't have very many problems at all with rubbing

      I have 235/40 in the rear on my jetta. Its lowered, I get the occasional rub. rolled fenders help though

        With a moderate drop you should be okay.

        Let us know what kind of wheels you have and their specs (offset, width). It would help us get a general idea of what you are working with.

          ya sorry for lack of info...


          brand of the rim are speedracing i believe... offset is a +40 or +45. 8" wide.
