Wheel bolts, continued.... what is this?

The bolt on the left is what I just got in the mail to replace the cone on the right. So if the ball seat is left, and the cone seat is right, what is the middle? Some kind of hybrid?

Dont like the one on the left, not much of a head for a socket to grab onto, might strip.

It is a ball seat that just doesn't extend as far up the head of the bolt. Most lug seats in wheels are only as deep as the middle bolts seat area is so many aftermarket manufacturers manufacture them that way instead...

I have ball seat bolts if you want them, they work for 20mm spacers.
