The main thing thats proving difficult to find are cloth insert seats. Either a bmp or a dbp.. options are pretty much all the same for all r32 as far as i know..

Very tempting! If it was blue it would be perfect.

Pretty sure that's the same one as the one guy im talking to.. I just read an article that greatly made me rethink the R32. I've read a few articles that VW AG has an AWD scirocco R in the works, a la R32. And there might be a limited production run for 2010 of the scirocco not R. Makes me want to wait and see what's going to be available in a year.

                site

Anybody know if there have been newer articles saying otherwise?

                  Wishful thinking I'm afraid Hopya.

For every article you find about some "cool" VW they already have in Europe that is "supposedly" coming to America... I'll find 2 that say it's not:

No Cool Cars for America - Link #1
hNo Cool Cars for America - Link #2

Trust me... it p*sses me off too!

                      Re: Mk4 r32

So we getting the R20 here? It's really confusing how the speculation all says different things.

I dream of owning a MK4 R32, but a lot of them seem too highly priced with high miles, so maybe something like the R20 will be available in 2-3 years here for a good price?

If you look on the vortex, some 2008 R32's are priced lower than some 2004 R32's that have double or triple the miles.

                        3 Things:

                        1. I'm Biased.
                        2. "Desirable" cars will always sell for a premium
                        3. ...increased speed doesn't always equate to more fun.

                        Cheers...

it seems like the dollar is on the rise right now too. 86 cents today. might look at getting something from down south if it gets real close to par

Since the hunt began, for me, I quickly realized that it wasn't going to be quick. I think you have to have the patience when finding the right car - and I am very impatient...

Also I am willing to bet that the R20 or an equivalent WILL be coming in the next 2-3 years..

I'd say there's a 50:50 chance of it hitting 90 cents this year, a 10% chance of it reaching 95 cents and a 1% chance of a par dollar.
