  • Fender Light Change Advice

I bought some smoked fender and front indicator lights for my golf (GTI, 2004).
I have no idea how to change them.
A fellow gti owner at a meet told to use a flat head screwdriver to just pop them out. Before i go ahead and do this, is this the right way to do this..? i.e just 'pop' them out?

just be very delicate with them to make sure your popping out the correct side. I cant remember which side it is, but one side has a spring clip, so you want to pop out the opposite side.

Just try and slide them, if it doesnt slide, push in the other direction, the metal clip should compress and the light should just pop out, this is how i always do mine.
