I don't mind the look. I think the gold look suits a darker car better, but still not bad on silver. Thing is, they look pretty good as-is, so I don't know if I'd go through the trouble of re-finishing.

yep, I agree I think they look great, especially in person after a wash.
I just want to stand out a little bit. I don't see too many silver/gold cars around, and painting them black is totally NOT an option, because that color combo is way too played.
I since have replaced the wheels, they were work brombachers in gold with polished lip. The gold color is so hard to match to the car, and on my car I didn't like how it made the rest of the paint sometimes look more yellow. Also just was not super eye catching like I thought. I agree a darker color is more eye catching if that is what you are going for - don't do a light gold, do like a bronze or something.
I think I saw you driving around the sarcee area today. Do you live around there? Actually I think I saw you on 17th ave heading up the hill past sarcee.
