  • I decided to "modify" my taillights *PIC*

    Think they turned out pretty good for $20 in supplies and a bit of my time



    EDIT: They are still taped up in that picture**

      Lots of sanding + Masking
      15 coats with Duplicolor Metalcast red anodized paint
      More sanding
      15 coats of clear
      More sanding
      Lots of polishing and buffing

        Looks fantastic man!!! Well done. I've seen way too many **** jobs on DIY tails but these look amazing!!

          Thanks Derek, I figured I might as well try and if they looked like junk well than no real loss.

            Those look sweet, did you use any adhesion promoter? and what grit did you use before you sprayed the clear?

                    That looks absolutely amazing. I always wanted to just tint my tails but I dont want them looking like crap. Good to finally know exactly what to do to make them look good. You probably saved alot of money and they look just as good if not better than the ones in the store! Good work!!!
