  • First time posting; my veedub

I heard about this place from my friend, so I decided to join too.

Here a few pics of my vee dub. Just got the new wheels (last weekend), and other parts are being shipped currently. So, this isn't the final look but I'm happy so far.

            Thanks !!

Mainly cosmetic stuff; badgeless grill, gli front valance, side skirts...also next week have to put some spacers (3mm) at the front (tires are rubbing against the coilovers a bit too much) and 10mm H&R spacers at the back. I also just received a nice MKIV badge that I'll be putting on the trunk.

I don't think that was me. I just got these wheels last thursday, so it must have been some one else. Hey, it's all good - I get it. I kinda digg it, but I know I could have done better. There is always time, I'll be getting new once soon. If not this summer then the next one for sure.

Thanks guys! Hopefully I'll see some of 'ya around this summer.

The way i wrote that definitely didnt make sense. Last year when i saw you, there were no rims on the car, i think you had the steelies on if im not mistaken. You drove on 32nd ave. I highly doubt it was someone else but it could of been.

I would get some darker tail lights to flow with you car more, the clear just doesnt look right. I think it would set your car off really well. May i suggest GLI tails.

And the wheels flow with your car, but i think you could pull off it a bit better with a euro look type of wheel. But then again make ur car what you want, as long as it suits ur taste then thats all that matters.

                Happy Modding!

Appreciate your input. Thanks! I just basically started working on her. It took me a while to decide if I should work on the Jetta or on my Chrysler 300. I'm going to tint the tail lights for sure, I've done it to all of my other cars so she's next in line.

Also, here is what she looked like before -- and other than her regular aluminum (stock) wheels, I never had any other wheels put on her:

Thanks man! Nahh...no 1.8T it's actually 2.0L (City) I just removed that ugly "city" badge from the back.

Anyways, thanks for all your comments and input.
