1.8T Cleaning up the engine bay

So has anyone on here removed the SAI, N249, PCV, EVAP. Im thinking of cleaning up the bay for spring. Any input would be appreciated.

I have not, a few guys have on vortex and it would prob be a good thing to ask them since all the parts that came with the car are in a sense necessary but can be tweaked.

I would love to do that to my car as well...but make sure in order for a cleaner looking bay that you will need to put in alot of work into it.

Its worth it in the end tho imo.

thanks, i know we don't have any law on emissions in alberta so with regards to that part should be alright to do. Im also flashed with Revo so I should be able to take care of codes easily regardless (after further reading simple ecu flashes do not get rid of cels, you'd need to have a BT file loaded).

just look at a sti's bay and youll be satisfied haha

I did it on my old car and didn't see any advantage, maybe was surprised to find a lot of gunk in there when taking things apart.

Probably wouldn't do it unless you are on a BT setup or something.

Ive anways wanted to do this> If you do end up taking these items out let me know how it goes. I wouldnt mind doing it myself too.
