I snagged a Red Top for my VR6 a while back, Costco of all places. It was the Red Top 35 I believe. I know it's in another thread on here, I'll go search through my posts to find it.

Edit: Yes Red Top Group 35.

^^^ Yup Costco often has really good prices as well on quality batteries including Optimas.

IMHO the Optima's are $$ overkill unless it's in a track car, a 4X4 or a car with a high end sound system.

I settled with a NAPA legend premium 75. Over at Tirecraft/Shelby automotive

i used to run napa legend batteries. Seem to last forever, and have good warrenty. The one I had for my diesel didn't much like it when I ran the glow plugs several times over, but the ones in my gas cars were always good.

You'll enjoy it either way, let us know how the install goes. I know when I did my battery I accidently broke a bit of the battery box off.
