MK3 Jetta MPG

Looking at buying a '98 Jetta 2.0L GLS, just wondering what kinda mileage you guys are getting with them.

i have a 2.0L golf...and i get about 28MPG, or ~8.8L/100km
thats a lot of city driving tho..and i've been rolling around with a random CEL that i've yet to get looked at.

I drive a 98 Jetta 2.0, but mine is supercharged.
I'm pretty heavy on the pedals but keep it mostly at the speed limit. When I fill up, (gas light on) its a 45L fill, and I get about 515-525 km until the light is back on again.

8.6L/100km or so. Pretty much in line with D911
