Another 2004 Jetta...

We finally got more 2004 jettas with the new pd diesel. Gauges look good, cant say much for the chrome on the sides but the new trunk lid and tailights look cool. I can see a few people changing their trunk lid to the new one!!

can you give me a quote on that cluster please? also, do those jetta come with aero wipers like the new passats? the spinless ones? i'd like a quote on those too please.

You sure you want them Bart? I've had a year with mine and I'm still not sold. They only wipe well in strong rain - in the light stuff they seem to rattle too much.

what about snow? the thing is with mine is they freeze in the winter time is i got for a car wash or something like that, then it skips the whole window. and my left one now isnt working perfectly. overall i read people on vortex are better off, and they look cool too.

Agree with Bart on this one, anything is an improvement overy my wipers in the winter.

i called 5th ave, basically for the whole set, $180 with our discount. the passat ones wont fit golf/jetta unfortunately. 2004 golfs and jettas i think will have these new wipers, or higher end ones anyway, thats why dealer can get them in already. i dont have the part numbers on me.

Bart, have to say yes, the are pretty darn good in the snow. They didn't freeze at all last year. Just be prepared for that copping noise if the winsheild had dry spots.

I saw a 2004 Jetta at SCFC the other night, I also do not like the chrome tirm, but car was dirty and it was night but not sold on that. I do however like the tails and trunk lid. I did not notice the wipers at all!

next service i'll go test drive one and a tourag.. actually i've spotted a few tourags and cayennes now.. they cayennes are alright but the performance is awesome the tourags look awesome too.
