  • Notch filler!

So I am thinking about summer already (who isn't) and plans for my gti.

I have been reading that getting the hood notch filled for a badgeless grill is around $400-$600, is this correct?

Id love to do it myself, but I don't have any experience welding anything, not to mention a torch..

I've never needed body work that I cant do myself, so can anyone give me some places that do a good job for a reasonable price?

    Thanks

Price sounds fair...as for a body place i aint sure. Look up on beyond and see the body shop thread...give a few places a call from that list and see if they could do it.

There are also enough DIY's on Vortex on how to fill the notch. Usually ends up with loads of bondo. There's also aftermarket notch fillers.
