Kor, you have the TT exhaust with the aluminized steel right? If so, I think that it might be because of the fact that aluminum has a higher coefficient of thermal expansion than that of steel - almost double. Couple that with the ability to dissipate heat quicker and the dissimilar metals in contact, that might be exacerbating the popping.

Nope the exhaust is Stainless not Aluminized.
