here's one i configured for fun in polakia:

2 door trendline, 140hp tdi, 6spd. price comes to $32.5k with 22% tax.

some options:

-magnetic ride
-alarm, senses intrusion and angle changes
-winter package
-automatic folding mirrors
-touchscreen nav
-ESP
-fogs
-sunroof
-climatronic
-rain sensor, tire pressure sensor
-cruise
-mfa computer
-parking sensors

no leather here, you need to get the highline version for that. you can get DSG if you want on trendline, but no 4motion. highline has 4motion but with 6spd only, dsg is only fwd. xenons aren't an option. so thats an idea of what kinds of options the golf will has, but we'll see what comes here...

The silver Golf is now at Northland Volkswagen for the auto show if you guys want to see it beforehand. Saw it on Friday evening. Looks really good minus that DSG.

Since the MkVI is referred to as a "warmed-over" MkV, and will only have a 3-year life, I think I'm going to wait for the much-improved MkVII coming in 2012.
