Radio Removal

Hi, is there anyone in the north west with radio removal tools for a MKIV double din radio that could assist me in popping out my radio? Trying to install an iPod hook up and need access to the back of the radio.

I used an old petro points card and cut it into thin strips and rounded the ends to pop mine out. It worked like a charm.

Any card the thickness of a credit card should do the trick.

Do they have to be shaped like the tools I have seen online, with a slanted notched side? Or do they just push something inside in?

Did the same with mine when i installed some audio a couple years back.
