Touareg Trailer Wiring..Need OEM parts

So im installing a trailer hitch in my Touareg and i need the oem control module and oem wiring harness. Dealer quoted me 590$ for the 2.

Now is there a place in Canada that sells oem parts? 1stVWparts has what i need for alot cheaper but he wont ship to canada.

Ship it to that twn at the bottom of Lethbridge, Couts Crossing? Then drive down to get it, or Ask Volkstech, he may be able to point you in the right direction.

Might be a bit longer of a drive for Dayle if he were to drive to sweetgrass

Best I could find is:

Harness - $182.58USD
Module - $271.55USD

~$550CND + shipping

That is almost the exact same price as 1stVWParts, but once you add shipping and duty you'd be paying more than the Stealership...I'd say in this case their price isn't bad at all.

Thanks i was just looking at the 1stvw parts quote and looks like they only quoted me for the module price so thats why i thought it was alot cheaper from them. Cant believe how much these are just to get wiring to the trailer.
Think i might just look into tapping the wires

Make sure you know what your doin, will end up costing way more if you mess it up. VW wiring.................................. need I say more.
