You are probably talking about the crossfire...

As for the WRX, if it is from a roll, you should by all means beat the car. In the 1/4 the 1.8ts (AWP GTi at least) have a higher trap speed than the WRX, meaning the car actually accelerates faster, but the WRX has the VW on the launch every time, no way around that. That is stock for stock.

As for the stage 2 WRX, I don't know about it beating the GTi. They put down about 225, which Stage 3 owners, depending on their exactly setup put down up to 270-280. From a start yes, but the WRX stock would still take a stage 3 from the start, but from a roll, or on the highway, the WRX would get lit up.

From a rolling start, it should not be impossible to beat a stock WRX with mods like we have. However from a standing start the WRX driver would always win...

CTS-V is comming more around 70-80 rather then 50G .. It sports the same v8 from the z06 corvette and is too compete against the m3/s4/c32 .. and so far has already beaten the m3 on Nurburgring.

Dale, was it just a wrx or a wrx sti. My inlaws have a wrx and its fast but the sti version is now 300hp. That car is damn fast!!!! Their wrx will beat their vette and they also have a dakota r/t which is quick but can't touch the subaru Pretty sad of their 3 cars the 2 v8's cant compare to it!

its super easy to tell if its a new styled WRX vs new STI. the regular WRXs just have the new headlights, whereas the STIs have the gold wheels, huge brakes, huge hoodscoop, giant wing

The WRX will beat their vette, either #1 it isn't a C5, or #2 someone can't drive :mrscrewy:
